Hamed joined us in 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience in both academia and industry across three different countries before settling here in the United States. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in Iran, where he gained hands-on experience as a site supervisor, working alongside his brother, a professional Civil Engineer who inspired him to enter this field.

To further his education, Hamed moved to Malaysia to pursue a Master of Sciencedegree in Structural Engineering & Construction. After completing his degree, he spent nearly a decade working as a lecturer, researcher and faculty coordinator in Malaysia. During his five years in New Zealand, Hamed completed his PhD and worked as a Projects & Operations Engineer for a Construction Firm, managing complex projects and operations, applying his expertise to deliver high-quality results and enhance project outcomes.

Throughout his journey to the United States, Hamed was granted eight patents in seismic mitigation systems and developed an innovative framework for evaluating smart and resilient cities. He also received numerous awards from various competitions, symposiums, and exhibitions.

Outside of his professional life, Hamed enjoys playing soccer, exploring new places, and visiting shopping malls.
