PAKPOUR CONSULTING GROUP TO PROVIDE DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON’S ANNUAL WATER AND SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT (2005).

PLEASANTON, CA, August 24, 2005 — The City of Pleasanton has retained Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. to provide design services for its Annual Water and Sewer Replacement Project (2005). Joubin Pakpour, P.E. president of Pakpour Consulting Group, made the announcement.
The City of Pleasanton is located approximately 30 miles Northeast of San Jose. The City, with a population of 68,000, is considered the heart of the tri-valley area and provides key municipal services such as water treatment and distribution along with sanitary sewer collection.
Pakpour Consulting Group will be responsible for conducting hydraulic modeling and design of approximately 8,000 linear feet of 6” and 8” sewermain replacement and 2,300 linear feet of new 12” watermain at 10 different locations throughout the City. Methods of construction will consist of traditional cut and cover along with pipe bursting. The construction budget is estimated to be approximately 1.5 million dollars.
