PAKPOUR CONSULTING GROUP TO PROVIDE DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF BENICIA'S STATE PARK ROAD BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PROJECT

PLEASANTON, CA, May 9, 2008 — The City of Benicia has retained Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. (www.pcgengr.com) to provide design services for the State Park Road Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge project. Joubin Pakpour, P.E. president of Pakpour Consulting Group, made the announcement.

The City of Benicia is a waterfront City located approximately 30 miles Northeast of San Francisco and is located adjacent to the Carquinez Strait, which is part of San Francisco Bay. The City, with a population of 28,000, is known for its small town charm, history and high quality of life and offers an abundance of leisure and recreational activities such as the Benicia State Recreation Area.

Pakpour Consulting Groupin conjunction with Quincy Engineering, Inc., will be responsible for the design of approximately 1,000 linear feet of a Class I Bicycle path and a bicycle and pedestrian bridge overcrossing at Interstate 780 in Solano County. Once completed the new Bicycle and Pedestrian Path will provide safe access to and from the Benicia State Recreation Area from the residential areas to the North and will connect to the City's bike lane system. The construction budget is estimated to be approximately $3.5 million.
